NSW RUGBY REFEREES

Appointments Process

NSWRRA members are appointed to a wide range of matches across the greater Sydney region including Premier, Suburban, Schools, Juniors and a myriad of Sevens, Ten’s and preseason competitions. These appointments are made by the Development and Appointments Committee and distributed by Angus Cameron (seniors) and Hamish McKay (juniors) at NSWRU.

Unavailability

Timely advice of unavailability is key to ensuring the appointments process runs as smoothly as possible. Members can advise their unavailability in two ways:

Rugby Xplorer – login to your account and add the dates (and times) that you are unavailable. Try to do this at least two weeks in advance.

You can also link yourself to related teams, which will help the appointments officer to appoint you around that team’s fixtures.

Email – If you have already been appointed the system won’t let you make yourself unavailable. In this case, contact angus.cameron@nsw.rugby (seniors) or hamish.mckay@nsw.rugby (juniors).
